Captain Citrus

This was a memorable project for me. A lot of things were happening then, in both work and personal aspects of my life.

It was also the last project that the WASI team, worked on together.

Towards the end of this project, I was the only one left working on it. I'm proud to have done this project.

Main responsibilities: Lighting, texturing and shading environments, rendering, and compositing.

Strawbery Shortcake - 2014 Florida Strawberry Festival

Had fun doing this project. It was short and sweet.

My main responsibilities here were texturing, shading, and lighting the shot.

Clemson Tigers Basketball Team Game Intro

This game intro was for the Clemson University basketball team.

I did some modeling, texture and shading on some of the environments.

My main task here is lighting the whole sequence.

Graftjacket - Medical Animation

This short clip is part of a 6-minute animated and motion graphic presentation illustrating the mechanism of action of the regenerative tissue matrix, a product that contains natural biological components that help in healing wounds.

We were only responsible for all the 3D elements in the project.

ARCHViz - ALPINE Rooms

Here’s something we worked on last year. The 3D models and textures were provided by the client. Our job was to replicate the lighting and shading in the living room and bedroom done by an architectural firm using a 3D package different from ours. Another goal was to render it as fast as we can.

After a couple of tests, we decided to use fake global illumination to reduce flickering caused by GI and it worked perfectly. We animated the cameras and rendered the two rooms separately.

It renders so fast that we were even able to combine the two lighting setups and re-render them.

Swoosh Animation

This is one of the major projects we did at Workaround Animation Studio. Main responsibilities: Lighting, rendering, modeling, and texturing

This animation was done for the re-branding of a Major League Baseball team in the US and for the opening of its new ballpark. The swoosh character flies through the landmarks of the hometown.
